Soul Clarity - Privacy & Terms 2026

Soul Clarity Privacy Policy

Last updated: 14 September 2026

1. Who I am

Soul Clarity is operated by Darren Sissons, a sole trader trading as Soul Clarity.

For the purposes of UK data protection law, Darren Sissons is the data controller responsible for the personal information described in this policy.

Contact email: darren.soulclarity@proton.me

This privacy policy explains what personal information I collect, why I use it, how I protect it and the rights you have in relation to it.

2. The information I may collect

Depending on how you use the website or contact Soul Clarity, I may collect:

● your name and email address;

● any telephone number or social media contact details you choose to provide;

● the service you are interested in, including the Soul Sanctuary Circle or One-to-One Mentoring;

● information you include in an enquiry or provide during our communications;

● information needed to arrange sessions, such as availability and time zone;

● records of agreements, consent and service communications;

● brief notes that are reasonably necessary to provide your chosen service;

● payment and transaction information, although full card details are processed by the payment provider and are not held by me; and

● basic technical information collected by the website platform or through essential cookies.

Please do not include medical records, detailed health information or other highly sensitive personal information in the website contact form.

3. Sensitive personal information

During a Soul Sanctuary Circle or One-to-One Mentoring journey, you may choose to discuss personal experiences, spiritual or religious beliefs, or matters relating to your physical or emotional wellbeing. Some of this may be classed as special category data under UK data protection law.

I will not ask you to provide more sensitive information than is reasonably necessary. Where I need to record or use special category information to support you, I will explain why and rely on your explicit consent. You may withdraw that consent at any time, although this may affect my ability to continue providing a service where the information is necessary for that service.

Soul Clarity is not a medical, mental health, legal or emergency service. Please do not use the website contact form for urgent or crisis support.

4. How and why I use your information

I may use personal information to:

● respond to enquiries;

● decide with you whether a Soul Clarity service is suitable;

● form and manage Soul Sanctuary Circle groups;

● arrange and deliver One-to-One Mentoring;

● schedule sessions and communicate practical information;

● provide agreed support during a four-week journey;

● administer payments, refunds and financial records;

● maintain appropriate service, consent and safeguarding records;

● protect the security and integrity of the website and services; and

● respond to legal claims, complaints or requests from regulators where necessary.

I do not sell personal information.

At launch, Soul Clarity does not use personal information for an email newsletter or mailing list, does not use advertising pixels for targeted marketing and does not routinely record online sessions. If any of these practices change, this policy will be updated and any consent required will be requested separately.

5. My lawful bases

I use personal information only when I have a lawful basis to do so. Depending on the purpose, this may be:

● Steps before entering into a contract and performance of a contract, when responding to a request about a service, arranging participation or delivering an agreed service;

● Legal obligation, when keeping financial records or complying with applicable law;

● Legitimate interests, when running and protecting Soul Clarity, answering general enquiries, maintaining proportionate business records or handling a complaint, provided those interests do not override your rights; or

● Consent, where you have made a clear choice, including explicit consent where required for special category information.

Where processing is based on consent, you may withdraw that consent at any time by contacting me.

6. Soul Sanctuary Circle confidentiality

The Soul Sanctuary Circle is a small group service. Other participants will normally know the name you use in the group and will hear anything you choose to share during live sessions.

Participants will be asked to respect each other’s privacy and confidentiality. However, I cannot guarantee the conduct of another participant. You should share only what you feel comfortable sharing in a group setting.

I will not publish or use a participant’s story, image, voice, testimonial or identifying information for promotional purposes without separate permission.

7. Payments and service providers

Soul Clarity may use trusted providers to operate the website and deliver services, including:

● GoDaddy, for website hosting, contact forms and website administration;

● Stripe, for payment processing;

● Proton Mail, for email communications;

● YouTube or Google, where videos are embedded or linked on the website; and

● the video calling or messaging service agreed with you for live sessions or support.

These providers process information under their own terms and privacy policies. I share only the information reasonably necessary for the relevant purpose.

Some providers may process information outside the United Kingdom. Where this occurs, the provider is responsible for applying an appropriate lawful transfer mechanism and safeguards as required by data protection law.

8. Cookies and embedded content

The website platform may use cookies that are necessary for the website to function. Embedded content, including YouTube videos, may also place cookies or collect technical information when you interact with it.

Where consent is required for non-essential cookies, you can accept or decline them through the website’s cookie banner. You can also control cookies through your browser settings, although disabling essential cookies may affect how the website works.

9. How long I keep information

I keep personal information only for as long as it is reasonably needed:

● enquiries that do not become a service relationship will normally be deleted within six months of the last meaningful contact;

● brief client notes and routine service communications will normally be deleted within twelve months after the service ends, unless they are still needed for a complaint, safeguarding concern or legal claim;

● agreements, consent records, invoices and essential transaction records may be kept for up to six years to meet tax, accounting and legal requirements; and

● information will be deleted sooner where appropriate following a valid request, unless I have a lawful reason to retain it.

10. How I protect information

I take reasonable steps to protect personal information, including using password-protected devices and accounts, access controls, two-factor authentication where available, secure payment providers and appropriate device encryption.

I limit the information I collect and the number of places in which it is stored. No online system can be guaranteed completely secure, but I will act promptly if I become aware of a suspected personal data breach.

11. Sharing information

I share personal information only:

● with a service provider where necessary to operate the website, process payment or deliver the agreed service;

● where you have asked me to or given clear permission;

● where disclosure is required by law; or

● where it is reasonably necessary to protect someone’s vital interests or address a serious safeguarding concern.

I will not disclose the content of private mentoring conversations for marketing purposes or share it with other clients without separate permission.

12. Your data protection rights

Depending on the circumstances, you may have the right to:

● ask for a copy of the personal information I hold about you;

● ask me to correct inaccurate or incomplete information;

● ask me to delete information;

● ask me to restrict how information is used;

● object to certain uses of information;

● receive certain information in a portable format; and

● withdraw consent where consent is the lawful basis.

These rights are not absolute and some exemptions may apply. I may need to confirm your identity before responding. I will normally respond within one month.

To exercise a right or raise a privacy concern, contact:

[INSERT YOUR ACTIVE SOUL CLARITY EMAIL ADDRESS]

You also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office. Information is available at www.ico.org.uk.

13. Children

Soul Clarity’s paid Circle and Mentoring services are intended for adults aged 18 or over. Please do not submit personal information about a child through the website.

14. Changes to this policy

I may update this privacy policy when Soul Clarity’s services, systems or legal obligations change. The latest version will be displayed on this page with the date it was last updated.
